Last Neon Sign Recycled

TDK sign

This morning staff at Pure Planet Recycling collected and recycled the neon tubes from the last static neon sign at London’s famous Piccadilly Circus. The Sanyo sign pictured here was the last sign to be converted over to a video advertising board now advertising Hyundai in it’s place. Today ends the neon era for the iconic advertising boards at Piccadilly Circus.

Today was an example of how Pure Planet Recycling go above and beyond for their customers as the collection took place from London at 5am.

Paul Turbutt, Sales Director commented;
"When customers have specific requirements for their collections we do our very best to meet and exceed expectations. This morning was a very early start for our collection team down in London and this is why our services get recommended. We go that extra mile, or in this case, set the alarm clock extra early."

Pure Planet Recycling offer fluorescent light tube recycling services to businesses in the UK.
