Intertek’s Requirements
Intertek need a secure, guaranteed recycling solution for potentially unsafe equipment. Intertek’s recycling solution needs to be compliant to all waste regulations including the WEEE directive whilst also covering all categories of WEEE.
How we help Intertek
Intertek produce a number of various sized electrical waste equipment from small domestic appliances through to large fridge freezers. In order to make the recycling easier larger items are loose loaded into our van and the following container was provided;
Our 660 Litre WEEE crate gives Intertek a solution for all of their small appliances to be contained on site. This is placed in a waste storage area within the warehouse next to the larger items for recycling. It keeps the area safe and tidy and ensures all staff know where to place redundant items.
The Result
Intertek are provided with a cost effective, legal recycling solution allowing a full peace of mind whilst adhering to the WEEE directive. We ensure all items are recycled and destroyed so that they cannot enter the market place as they will be unsafe after testing.
