TV recycling increases in build up to World Cup
The recycling industry has seen an increase in the amount of old televisions being recycled in the build up to the football World Cup. Recycling companies across England have seen an increase in the amount of televisions being sent for recycling, with one company having a 15 tonne increase within one month. Pure Planet Recycling are pleased to see that the volumes of recycling have increased, which shows the recycling message is hitting home across the nation.
Householders have been tempted by deals from retailers, to upgrade their old Televisions in time to see England, and the other 31 teams in the competition, kick off. After research, Churchill Home Insurance have found that 18% percent of households intend to purchase a new Television before the world cup starts, with 5% already having done so.
It is important that when upgrading your Television that your old equipment is recycled with a reputable recycling company to ensure proper treatment. Pure Planet Recycling offers businesses a cost effective route for CRT Monitor and Television Recycling.
Pure Planet Recycling wishes the England team the best of luck for the tournament... Come on England.
