Data Destruction
Pure Planet Recycling has recently invested in a degausser machine to destroy data on any magnetic media including hard drives, media and server tapes. The degausser is approved by the National Technical Authority for Information Assurance (CESG) at the lower level for UK Restricted (IL3) data destruction. This further cements Pure Planet Recycling's position as a trustworthy source for computer recycling within the UK.
Once Pure Planet Recycling has collected your PC, Server or any Magnetic Media, they are transported using our own trained staff and transportation back to our facility where the process begins. Any hard drive or magnetic media that is recovered is logged, destroyed and then certified to ensure the procedure of data destruction is carried out to the same high standard each time, every time.
