Environmental Policy

As a minimum Pure Planet Recycling will comply with all relevant environmental legislation, and makes a further commitment to continually improve its environmental performance and use practices that avoid, reduce or control pollution.

Pure Planet Recycling's directors will set objectives in relation to the company's significant environmental impacts and set targets, at appropriate facilities, in order to maintain compliance and improve environmental performance.

Achievement of objectives and targets will be reviewed annually by Pure Planet Recycling's directors and, where appropriate, new/revised objectives and targets will be set to achieve continual improvement.

Pure Planet Recycling are regulated by, the Environment Agency (EA) to monitor compliance with relevant Licences, Permits, Authorisations and Consents.

Implementation of this policy is a management responsibility and all Pure Planet Recycling employees are responsible for:

  • Operating in compliance with relevant environmental legislation
  • Assisting in the achievement of the objectives and targets, where relevant
  • Where opportunities arise for improving environmental performance, informing directors
